Energetic Realignment

“I found myself in a state of anxiety and depression, where I was emotionally unstable, struggling to concentrate on my work and daily life. Di did a distance session on me. The relief of pressure I felt lifting from my chest and shoulders was amazing."
Healing

Reiki - The beginning of my energy journey

Reiki has been woven into my life since 1997. It was my first doorway into the world of energy work and it changed the course of my life in a way I could never have imagined. I trained in the traditional Usui System of Natural Healing with one of the first Reiki Masters in South Africa, Laina Lesicnik, and later became a Reiki Master and teacher myself. For many years I taught Reiki 1, Reiki 2 and Master level, and it formed the foundation of both my personal healing and my professional path.

Reiki opened the door to a deeper understanding of how energy moves through the body, how it responds to emotion and experience, and how the human energy field seeks balance and harmony. It taught me to listen beyond words and to sense what lies beneath the surface. Even now, Reiki remains a quiet thread in everything I do.
Over time my work expanded far beyond traditional Reiki.
As I continued to grow, I was guided into deeper layers of the energetic field.
The soul’s blueprint, the emotional and ancestral patterns held in the body, the
energetic architecture that shapes our lives and the subtle realms where insight, memory and transformation meet.
What began as Reiki has evolved into an integrative approach that includes intuitive soul guidance, remote energetic realignment, crystal grid work, light codes and deeper energetic blueprint repair. Sometimes my work takes me into the Akashic field to clear old agreements or patterns. Sometimes it works through the emotional body or the energy centres. Sometimes it is quiet and gentle. Sometimes it is powerful and catalytic.
Reiki was my beginning, and it still lives in everything I offer.
It taught me presence, sensitivity, trust and the language of energy.
It prepared me for the soul-aligned work I do today.
Even after all these years, the way energy supports healing, clarity and transformation continues to move me.
Reiki opened the path.
My work now walks it in a way that feels deeper, wider and aligned with who I have become.

Spiritual Energy

Universal Life Force Energy.

Reiki, pronounced 'Ray Key', is a Japanese word that means “Universal Life Force Energy.”
The word Rei speaks to the unseen, universal intelligence that flows through all things. It can be understood as divine wisdom or higher guidance. Ki is the vital life force that animates every living being - people, animals and plants. Together they describe a spiritually guided life force energy that restores balance and supports healing on every level.

Reiki was the first doorway that taught me how to listen to energy.
What I have always loved is that the practitioner does not control it. As I told my students for many years, we simply become the hosepipe through which the energy flows. Reiki reconnects us with the life force within, awakening the parts of us that remember how to heal, transform and grow.
It is not bound to any religion or belief system.
It is open to everyone.
You do not need to believe in Reiki for it to help you. You only need to allow it. I remember one student whose husband teased her endlessly about “this woo-woo stuff,” yet whenever his knee flared up, he would quietly ask her to put her hands on it because the relief was undeniable.

Reiki helps us return to a sense of harmony with the Universal Life Force, whether you call it Spirit, God, the Divine or simply Love. It has always felt to me like a gentle doorway into deeper truths. A way to experience the sacred presence that moves through all things.

Today my work has grown far beyond traditional Reiki, expanding into energetic blueprint work, intuitive soul guidance, light codes and deeper layers of the energy field. Yet Reiki remains my foundation. It opened my path, shaped my sensitivity and taught me how to recognise the movement of energy with clarity and respect.

For me, Reiki is more than a technique.
It is a sacred meeting point between the human and the divine, a reminder of the unconditional love that flows through everything and the mystery of life.

Spirituality and Religion

Reiki/energy healing can be as practical as you need it to be, or a deeply spiritual experience for you.

I have often been questioned about whether or not Reiki is a religion. It isn’t. I love to use the following as a response. Unfortunately I have no idea where it comes from, but it’s wonderful way to explain the difference.
Remember there is a difference between spirituality and religion. Imagine that you have a glass of water. You then take that water and pour it into a cup. From the cup you pour it into a vase. Then you pour it into a bottle. Through all of this it remains water. Only the vessel holding it changes. Religion is the vessel that holds your spirituality. Religion is more solid and less flexible. The vessel (religion) has the dogma and structure. Spirituality is the fluid expression of the Divine within each of us, it is the essence of our divinity and like a liquid, often needs a vessel in which to be held. Religion is a particular set of beliefs and rituals used to express and/or connect with our spirituality. Spirituality is not confined to the rules of any one religion. Religions often conflict with one another while spirituality crosses boundaries to unite us all.
Reiki/energy therapies are not a spiritual practice nor are they a religion. They work with the energies of the body and they can be as practical as you need them to be. Or they can be a deeply spiritual experience for you. A lot of research has been done on the healing power of our bodies, about energy and the mysterious and wonderful forces of the Universe that sometimes are beyond the scope of our mind to comprehend.

What They’re Saying

For me it is to step out of the world and into a completely safe space, where one is cocooned in love and warmth – free to be oneself and to just relax and receive. I have complete trust in you, that whatever is needed, you are the most competent conduit for that. It’s a wonderful experience for whatever healing is needed

ReikiAndrea

I found myself in a state of anxiety and depression, where I was emotionally unstable, struggling to concentrate on my work and daily life. Di did a distance Reiki session on me. The relief of pressure I felt lifting from my chest and shoulders was amazing. I instantly felt better and continued to improve as the days passed. I was able to continue with my job and manage my day-to-day life. She gave me feedback on what she picked up during the session and some suggestions on how I could cope and manage day-to-day stresses. It’s just so unbelievable how Reiki was able to work when we were 1600km apart, as I am currently living and working in a very remote part of Central Mozambique.

I feel so much more focussed, with a new, calm, grounded feeling.
